Unfortunately on Sunday, it was the last race for the one and only Dani Pedrosa. After crushing the 125cc and 250cc by earning three consecutive world championships between 2002 & 2005, he has become one of the most successful riders in the Honda's history. If fact, he is the seventh most successful in history!
After 18 years of competing, he has been named 'The king of starts', has been through one injury after another, he's won at least once race every season and he is the most loyal rider in MotoGP. Prior to Sundays Race at Valencia, Dani has completed 295 races in the World Championship and has fought against great rivals like Nicky Hayden, Marc Marquez, Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo and whilst riding for Honda, he has beaten them all!
And through out the stress of travelling, racing, endless interviews and recovering from injuries, his personality shines through and shows us how funny and relaxed he can be from time to time. He's inspired and helped so many fans because of how passionate he is with what he knows and loves best.
So it's hard to say farewell to someone who is a big part of MotoGP for so many years, but we Thank You Dani Pedrosa for being a successful rider and we will miss you!
